Care and maintenance of your Regal Vise:

All Regal Vises and accessories are manufactured to last a lifetime.  As with all precision equipment, the tool simply needs some routine tender loving care.  Regal suggests a drop or two of gun oil every so often rubbed into the surface of the head and stem not unlike you would do to a prized firearm.  This simple task will bring out the true color and luster of the vise and help preserve it.

In addition, please read the proper method of hook placement and use of the vise featured in our catalog and on our website.  Improper use of the vise can result in damage to the jaws or personal injury.
*Always wear eye protection when using a Regal Fly Tying Vise.

Make Your Vise Left Handed
All Regal vises are shipped as right hand vises.  Converting the right hand vise into a left hand vise is a very simple procedure that only takes a few minutes.  On the under side of the vise you will see a hex nut in the ball that holds the jaw handles in place.  Simply loosen the hex nut with a 7/64” hex wrench and swing the jaw handle to the other side.  Tighten the hex nut and you are ready to tie from the left hand position.
